Although both quarterbacks suffered injuries, Matt Stafford held on to help the Rams take down the Seahawks.
During the second quarter of the Rams’ 26-17 win on the road, Stafford suffered an apparent injury to his index finger. Despite the injury, he threw 25 passes for 365 yards and totaled a touchdown and an interception. Robert Woods totaled 150 receiving yards while both Darrell Henderson Jr. and Tyler Higbee scored touchdowns for the Rams.
Russell Wilson exited in the fourth quarter after he dislocated his middle finger. Before exiting, he completed 11 passes for 152 yards and totaled one touchdown and an interception. A timetable for his return is currently unclear. A pass picked off by Jalen Ramsey in the second quarter was the first turnover the Seahawks allowed since they defeated the Colts 28-16 in Week 1.
Backup quarterback Geno Smith stepped in and completed 10 of 17 for 131 yards and a touchdown to wide receiver DK Metcalf. He was granted one final shot to score a game-winning touchdown but threw an interception on the first play with under two minutes remaining.
